Names are personal. Whether you go by a shorter version, a preferred name, or something your team just knows you by, nicknames let you show up in Spaces the way you actually introduce yourself.
Setting your nickname
Go to Account Settings > Details to add or update your nickname. Change it whenever you like. Your nickname is separate from your full name, which stays on file for anywhere formal identity matters.
Choosing how you see names
Under Preferences, choose whether names appear as full names or nicknames across the app. This is a personal display setting that changes what you see, not what anyone else sees. Keep things formal or friendly on your own terms.
